“[…] Of the installation in Santa Sofia I am, with awe, enthusiastic. It has the miraculous that a small community expresses a group of people so determined, so adherent to the problem of contemporary art – and art for their land. The project of creating a permanent sculpture park is perfectly in tune with the principles I refer to with my work.
I consider the result to be very correct, or at least perfectly in line with my expectations. The presence of the three round forms has a precise ability to activate, enlivening, the space of the garden, to recall memories of archetypal moments of our perception of the space, of the movement; who has not felt wonder and joy seeing a wheel turning? The wheel is a cultural archetype, like fire and its domain; who does not feel wonder, enchantment, in front of fire?
